Sätila heading towards new goals

Sätila of Sweden is in an expansionary phase and the company has adopted a direction towards new goals. The journey began in 2014 with work on a new collection, a new organization and a new board. As part of the organizational development, Sätila has appointed Anders Olofsson to strengthen the company’s sales activities.

Sätila of Sweden, founded in 1896, is a leader in the design, development and manufacture of beanies and knitted fashion accessories. Sätila is currently present in the Nordic region, Europe and Asia, and the brand is appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers as well as people looking for high-quality, functional products for everyday living. Sätila’s offering is based on Nordic tradition, authentic craftsmanship, a passion for beanies, an environmentally friendly approach, social responsibility and a desire to live an active life.

Sätila is now in an expansionary phase aimed at creating long-term profitable growth for the company. Part of the work involves offering a modern, attractive product range with high quality and technical functionality.

Sätila strengthening the organization
Sätila began a reorganization of the business in spring 2014 and former Haglöfs CEO Mats Hedblom joined the Board of Sätila of Sweden AB during the summer. As part of the organizational development, Sätila has appointed Anders Olofsson to strengthen the company’s sales activities.

Anders joins the company from his recent role as Stockholm district manager for Pierre Robert Group. Anders previously worked at the Swedish Ski Association with Ski Team Sweden Alpine, and was sales manager for the sports and leisure segment at Egmont magazines and sales manager for Utemagasinet and Åka Skidor at Vita Huset Media. He has also worked as alpine product manager at Tecnica Svenska AB and sales manager at Grahns Sport. Anders will take up his new position on February 3, 2015.
