Sätila of Sweden AB applies the Consumer Sales Act, and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. In order to place an order, the customer must be of legal age, 18 years or older or have parental consent. Customer refers to a natural person.

This document describes and focus on both our payment and general terms and conditions.

Orders

Orders of Sätila of Sweden AB’s products can be made via www.satila.com.
All orders will receive an e-mail confirmation. The order is considered binding by Sätila of Sweden AB only after the order confirmation has been received by the customer.

Sätila of Sweden AB reserves the right to refuse a customer purchase. All orders are considered binding. If you have placed an order by mistake, please contact us immediately. If an item is not in stock, we will contact you and make a backorder. When the backordered item becomes available, we will send it to you. If you do not wish to receive the backordered product, please contact Sätila of Sweden AB and cancel your order.

Prices

All prices displayed includes Swedish VAT, currently 25%, and are quoted in Swedish

EUR. Sätila of Sweden AB reserves the right to apply VAT if its increases or other price changes that are beyond our control. Additional fees for shipping and possible freight or bill charges may also apply.

Payment

Invoice through Klarna. 
Please see section further down for more information about Klarna business conditions.

Credit card payment – we accept payments by Visa and MasterCard. Credit card transactions will be handled through an encrypted connection to DIBS payment services.

PayPal payment – this option is also available for those who prefer. There is no applied fee.

Delivery time

We can normally deliver within 2-5 working days within Europe. Longer delivery times apply depending on the delivery address.

Sätila of Sweden AB cannot be held liable to deliver out of stock or discontinued products. The shipping cost will always be displayed in the shopping cart.

Delivery delay

If a delivery is delayed for any reason, we will contact you. We will naturally make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. It is within your rights as a customer to cancel the purchase if there is an extensive delay in delivery. Situations may occur that will make it impossible for us to fulfill an order, for example, if our suppliers cannot meet their obligations to us. Sätila of Sweden AB reserves the right to exclude the customer from compensation in such situations, or in the event of any delivery delay.

Shipment

No charge for shipping within Sweden.

Shipments outside Sweden – will have the Swedish VAT cost applied to the shipment cost displayed beneath independent of which option that will be used.

EU, Norway and Switzerland have a shipping cost of approximately €5 EURO/50 NOK.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Sätila of Sweden AB applies the Consumer Sales Act, and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. This means that a customer is entitled to a 14-day return policy, without any special reason. The goods must be returned intact, in the same condition as they were received and in their original packaging (this means that a beanie, for example, must be as unused and in the same condition as it was delivered, all associated things such as hang-tags and labels must remain on the product. If you would like to return a product, please contact us and we will issue a return shipping label by e-mail. We are unable to accept goods returned COD.

The environment is important and therefore all returns are charged with 6 EUR that will be deducted from your refund. As soon as we have received the goods, you will be refunded. Please find more information regarding returns under section “Customer Service” in footer.

Complaints

Sätila of Sweden AB applies the Consumer Sales Act, and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act when dealing with complaints. This means that we undertake to replace defective or damaged products, free of charge. Do not accept goods in packaging with visible defects that may have affected the condition of the item you ordered. In that case, please lodge a complaint with the post office or the courier responsible for the delivery directly when picking up your package and ask them to return the package to Sätila of Sweden AB. State the reason for returning the goods on the packaging. Please also send an email to satila@satila.com to inform us about the complaint, clearly stating your order number in the e-mail or other correspondence.

Unclaimed packages / Not collected packages

Unclaimed packages will be sent back to Sätila of Sweden and you will be charged a fee 150 SEK (15 EUR/150 NOK) which corresponds to the return shipping and extra costs. If a shipment is unclaimed, and automatically returned to Sätila of Sweden, because of an incorrect address or phone number was specified when ordering we will handle this as an unclaimed package and charge as above. If you have changed your mind after the package has been sent from us, you must collect the package at your delivery point and then return it to us, otherwise it will be registered as unclaimed and automatically charged.

Unclaimed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

In the event of non-payment, the case will be forwarded to a debt collection service. No exceptions are made, it is the customer who is responsible for picking up the ordered item.

Privacy

According to Swedish law we must inform you, and have your permission, when we use your personal data. Your personal data is information that can be associated to you as a person and that you provide directly to us or that is automated collected by us (this with a note of doing so, such as for example cookies – read our Cookie Policy). All this information that we collect do we handle responsibly and safely. The information is used to pursue our business responsibilities to you but also for purposes of marketing and analyzes. We will under no circumstances (except for any situation when the personal data might be required for us to prove something for legal purposes) disclose any personal data without any further consent of the person concerned. The same applies to e-mail addresses.

You have the right to change the personal information we have about you if it is incorrect or request of having it deleted.

When you sign up on our newsletter you give us permission to send you our latest news, general updates and digital marketing to the email address you provided to us. If you would like to unsubscribe to our email list, only click the link in the bottom of every email/newsletter which has the option of unsubscribing.
